“A wise man should have money in his head, but not in his heart.”— Jonathan Swift, Author
ITCapital Sdn Bhd (popularly known as “ITCapital”) started its business in early 2000 via its venture in ITDistribution Sdn Bhd. ITCapital was incorporated as an investment holding company to rationalize and consolidate the multiple businesses established by the founders, Sabrina Shariff and Azman Abdullah, who saw the growing needs for Information and Communications Technology from businesses and the public sector in Malaysia.
ITDistribution started its business to bridge the gap in the public sector marketplace for industry. Having successfully extended the market reach of Hewlett Packard’s (HP) products, systems and services, particularly to the Malaysian Public Sector, Government Linked Corporations and the Telecommunications sector to soon earn itself the limited and prestigious status of Value-Added Distributor.
The founders next major venture, ITServices Sdn Bhd, was appointed as Dell Master Professional Service Agreement Partner for the implementation, maintenance and support services. Earlier, despite Dell’s Direct Sale business model, its sister company had generated leads for Dell products to major corporations with large scale installed sites and undertook the fulfilment and deployment of those large orders.
Mason Technologies Sdn Bhd was later established to capture the potential opportunities for software related services from the founders’ expanding customer base.
Pursuant to the corporate restructuring exercise, ITCapital was formally established as an ICT Group experienced and competent to offer a wide range of products and services particularly the following:
- Infrastructure supply and services outsourcing.
- Hardware and software infrastructure implementation and related services.
- Managed services and deployment of desktop equipment and peripherals to remote locations nationwide.
- Oracle and Microsoft application and database consultancy, development, implementation.
